Hin Tok River Camp 2 Days 1 Night

This trip will take you to Kanchanaburi Province, the city of Kanchanaburi is located at the point where two tributary rivers, the Khwai Noi and Khwai Yai, meet and form the Maenam Mae Klong. You will visit the notorious Death Railway and the Bridge on the River Khwai one of the world’s famous World War II sites which has been immortalized in print and film. Then enjoy walking tour on the Trails of Death railway at Hell Fire Pass to Hin Tok Station. You will take a long-tailed boat from the pier to the River Kwai Jungle Rafts, passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery and a historic ride on Death Railway Train.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Bangkok - Hin Tok River Camp
After you are picked up from major hotels in Bangkok Downtown Area, you will depart for Kanchanaburi. In Kanchanaburi you will visit the War Museum (Thailand-Burma Railway Centre), War Cemetery and Bridge over the River Kwai. Around 12:00 pm you arrive at Hin Tok River Camp. This is a luxury, tented camp with air-conditioning, refrigerator and attached toilet & shower room. After check-in, a lunch will be served. Then you will visit the Hell Fire Pass Memorial and enjoy walking tour on the Trails of Death railway at Hell Fire Pass to Hin Tok Station ( around 2,5 KMs ).

Then you will continue to Tented Camp by minivan. After your walking tour you can relax now with Spa or you can join activities. In the late afternoon you can get on a mountain bike, provided free of charge, for visiting a village or farm which are nearby the camp. You can experience and try out basket weaving your self with villagers.
Dinner and overnight at Hin Tok River Camp.

Day 2: Hin Tok River Camp - Bangkok
In the early morning you will walk or bike to the temple to give food to the monks.

After that you can enjoy your own American breakfast at the camp. After your breakfast you can check out the camp and take a long-tailed boat from the pier to the River Kwai Jungle Rafts, passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery. Then you visit the nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village (Optional tour: Elephant Riding through the bamboo forest). The lunch will be served at Jungle Rafts. After the lunch you will take a historic ride on Death Railway Train, passing lush forest. Hereafter you will continue by air-conditioned transportation to Bangkok.

Around 18:00 pm you will arrive in Bangkok and transfers to hotels.
