Liability
Chiang Mai Vacations dot com is owned and operated by Thai Dragon Travel & Tours (Thai Dragon), a subsidiary of Mai Thai Enterprises Co., Ltd., being a registered Limited Company in Chiang Mai, Thailand, here-under referred to as "the Company".
The Company provides custom tour services and acts as service agent between hotels, airlines and transport companies providing services. The company is not responsible in case of loss, injury, damage that could happen to the client, including during the tours and that occurring outside the tours or programs. Any loss or additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disasters, political actions or government restrictions, must be borne by the clients. The handling of baggage is at the client's risk throughout the tour. Our programs, itineraries, services and prices, are established and based on a certain date, and therefore subject to change without notice, before or during the tour. We reserve the rights to provide similar or superior hotels in case of non-availability.
Before you go
Clients are responsible for obtaining relevant visas and documents to enter legally the country. Every traveler must be in possession of valid travel documents, including passports for the duration of all tours. It is the client's own responsibility to meet our staff/guide or his representative, at the time and date agreed and mentioned in our final tour confirmation.
Flexibility
As the nature of this type of travel requires a certain amount of flexibility on the part of the traveler. It should be understood that certain modes of transport, itineraries and amenities may be subject to change as a result of unforeseen local events such as climate, strikes, mechanical breakdown, political unrest, etc.
Insurance and Liability
Due to the nature of most of our adventure tours, participants must be aware of the hazards which may be associated with the activities. Each traveler must acknowledge that the price of our services does not cover the cost of any insurance. Each traveler is responsible for purchasing and possessing his/her own personal travel and medical insurance. Insurance must cover personal accident, medical expenses, air ambulance, loss of effects, repatriation costs and all other costs resulting from loss, damage or injury.
The company expects that participants must be in a reasonable level of health and fitness before undertaking any of our activities. If you have questions about your health please consult your family doctor. Each traveler booking an adventure with the Company does so with the understanding that the Company will not be held responsible for any injury or death, accident, delay, loss, damage or irregularity resulting from acts undertaken on one of our tours. This includes such irregularities as vehicle defects, acts of God, delays, government restriction, civil disturbance, accidents by boat, bicycle, motor vehicle or any other form of transport or any form of accommodation.
Participants are aware that any damage to persons or property caused by the participant, or any damage to rented vehicles caused by them (for example bicycles, motor scooters, cars), whether intentional or not, are their own financial responsibility. The Company is not responsible for damage caused by participants to any vehicle, property or other persons during tour activities or outside of tour activities. Participants agree to accept the authority of the guide/tour leader throughout the tour. Clients are expected to and must always abide by the laws, customs and regulations of the Kingdom of Thailand on all Thai Dragon adventures.
Participant Agreement
Participation in our programs implies the client's agreement to the above conditions and the paid deposit stands for proof of acceptance of our general conditions.
