CHIANG MAI Vacations - Cancellation / Refund Policy

At Thai Dragon Travel and Tours (Chiang Mai Vacations dot com) we have worked to develop a policy that is as flexible as possible for the customer, within the rules and requirements of our service providers. Thank you for using our services and taking the time to review our policies.

Deposit
We understand that there will be customers that appreciate an opportunity to spread out vacation costs and so we offer our deposit option for early bookings.
- More than 30 days before arrival date will require deposit of 50 % of total price. You may also choose to pay full amount.
- Within 30 days before arrival requires payment in full.

Balance
- At least 30 days before arrival date, must pay balance in full. Failure to pay deposit will result in loss of reservation and cancellation charges as outlined below. We will send a series of reminders to your email as this date approaches.

Cancellation or Amendment
More than 30 days before requested arrival date
- There is $30 USD or 10% charge, whichever is the greater amount, for administration and banking charge for cancellations and there may be a charge levied for certain amendments made prior to 30 days from arrival.

Within or less than 30 days
- There is a cancellation fee of one night for hotel (per hotel for multiple hotel bookings and per room for multiple rooms). For tour services there is a cancellation fee of 30% of total cost within 30 days from arrival, 50% within 7 days, and 75% within 3 days of the tour date.

Should you require amendments to your booking, we will work with you to accommodate any required changes. We appreciate that circumstances can require occasional changes and we will work to satisfy your needs. Please be aware that some additional charges may result, particularly if changes are made during peak periods or within 2 weeks of arrival.

Travel during peak holiday periods (e.g., Christmas, New Years, Thai New Years) may alter cancellation policies of certain hotels and service providers. Should such a change affect your travel during these periods, we will attempt to notify you of any changes.
