Join our professional team for a superb whitewater rafting adventure on the Mae Teang River. Experience a unique and unforgettable journey through winding gorges, luscious jungles, and magnificent terraced rice fields. Paddle through breathtaking canyon for unparalleled fun on the river. Then you will continue your adventure with an afternoon of thrills and chills during an ATV adventure. Travel for over 30 kilometers over hill and dale and through a couple of hill tribe villages along the way. This is a great full day adventure to help you appreciate the wilderness of Northern Thailand.
Itinerary:
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Chiang Mai and drive through unspoiled villages in the Mae Teang area. Lunch will be served, then prepare yourselves to go on the rafting. At our camp you'll be outfitted with helmets and life' jackets. After our staff briefs you about the instruction on paddling and river safety, you are off to the longest and best rafting trip on the Mae Teang River. Awaiting you are 14 rapids and gorges along the 10 kilometer route; the rafting stops at downstream camp where you can change your clothes and pause for lunch.
Then you’ll learn to ride the All Terrain Vehicle (ATV). Our guides will take you to the a beautiful trail, lined with the sea of hills and mountains of the Chiang Dao Range and through the subtropical forest. You will pass by Akha and Lisu hilltribes villages along the more than 30 kilometer stretch of jungle trail. Off-road and makeshift conditions.
At the end of this exhilarating day you can relax during the 1.5 hours drive back to Chiang Mai.
