This is the perfect one day outing for those looking to sample several popular activities within the scenic jungle setting north of Chiang Mai. The day includes elephant riding, mountain biking and river rafting for a compact adventure you will not soon forget.
Itinerary:
Your itinerary includes several activities accessible for everyone seeking a light adventure. Transportation is by air-conditioned van.
Morning, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Chiang Mai and drive up the Northern route to Mae Teang area. At the elephants camp, have a fun-filled elephant ride through the jungle and along the riverside. Then continue by mountain bike about 10 km. from the local village through sub-tropical forest.
After lunch and a short break our guides will provide some instruction about paddling and river safety to prepare you and your friends for the upcoming excitement, then you are off to the longest and most exciting rafting trip on the Mae Teang River.
After some relaxation and refreshment at the finish point, take a 1.5 hour drive back to your hotel.
08:00 am Depart from your hotel in Chiang Mai.
09:30 am Elephant riding for 1 hrs.
11:00 am Mountain biking for 1 hrs.
12:30 pm Lunch.
13:30 pm Brief instruction for paddling and river safety.
14:00 pm Start whitewater rafting.
16:00 pm Finish, short break & change to dry clothes.
17:30 pm Arrive at Chiang Mai.
