With this package, you will visit 4 most beautiful Northern provinces in 4 days and be impressed with the unequalled cultural beauty of the renowned Lanna Kingdom. Enchanted by the ancient moats, you will have a chance to pay respect to Wat Doi Suthep, the most famous landmark of Chiang Mai. In Lampang, you will enjoy elephant shows and visit the most well known Prathat Lampang Luang temple. In Phayao, you will be stunned with the largest fresh-water lake, Kwan Phayao and rid yourself of fatigues with mineral bath from the natural hot spring. Afterwards, you will visit the northernmost spot in Chiang Rai where you will be amazed with the Royal Winter Palace in Doi Tung and enjoy shopping sprees at the famous Mae Sai bazaar where you can walk across the border to Myanmar. You will be standing on the infamous Golden Triangle and learn its history at the Opium House.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Chiang Mai - Three Kings - Wat Doi Suthep - Hmong Village
We will meet you at the Chiang Mai airport and transfer into the hotel in the city. You can relaxing and enjoy your lunch until 13:00 pm, we will drive into the old city of Chiang Mai surrounded by the ancient moat to visit the historical site at the Three Kings Monument. There, you will learn history of the Lanna Kingdom and Chiang Mai. Later, we will drive to the west of the city to Wat Doi Suthep, the most revered golden temple, located on the side of a mountain where you can see the best view of Chiang Mai. After an hour walking and learning about Buddhism there, we will continue driving to the top of the mountain to visit Hmong hill tribe village. You will enjoy a charming view of the forest and fresh air while walking around this village for one hour. Then, we will return to your hotel around 17:00 pm

Day 2: Elephant Conservation - Wat Pratart Lampang Luang - Rafting Dam
At 08:00 am from Chiang Mai, we will visit the elephant conservation center which is the only official elephant camp in the north. You will learn how elephants are kindly trained to work and show. After that, we will visit the elephant hospital where injured elephants from many places are carefully healed by veterinarians. Later we will drive to a local market where people buy and sell wild foods. After lunch, we will visit the ancient temple Wat Pratart Lampang Luang, the most famous temple in Lampang. Then go to Giwlom Dam to take a raft for one hour to the island in the middle of the dam. Arrive there around 16:30 pm, we will stay overnight at the resort there.

Day 3: Rafting - Hotspring - Payao
At 08:00 am after breakfast, we will drive to Jae Son National Park. We will have a short walk for 10 minutes to the waterfall and relax yourself with the mineral bath in a nice and clean hot spring sauna room there. In the afternoon, we will drive along the scenic road to Payao province to visit Kwan Payao, the biggest fresh-water lake in Northern Thailand. Afterwards, we will check in at the hotel.

Day 4: Wat Rong khun - Mae Sai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai Airport
After breakfast at your hotel, we will drive to the north of Phayao to visit Wat Rong Khun, the fabulous temple built by a famous artist of Thailand. From there, we will go to the Winter Palace of the Princess Mother at Doi Tung Mountain. After walking in her flower garden and her palace, we will drive to the northernmost point of Thailand where you can walk across the border into Burma and enjoy shopping in the market there. In the afternoon, we will visit the meeting point of three countries: Thailand Laos and Burma. After learning stories of Opium and Golden Triangle at the Opium Museum, you will transfer to Chiang Rai airport around 17:00 pm
